Silent Knight Automation — Privacy Policy

Silent Knight Automation (“the App”) is a private, single-operator tool used by the owner of the YouTube channel Silent Knight Ambient to prepare and publish that channel’s own short-form videos. The App is not offered to the public and has no users other than its operator.

Google user data we access

The App requests exactly two Google OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly

  Used solely to read the authenticated channel’s ID and title, in order to confirm that the App is connected to the intended channel before any action is taken.

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload

  Used solely to upload video files to the authenticated channel and to set their title, description and scheduled publication time.

How we use this data

Google user data is used only to verify the connected channel and to upload and schedule videos to that same channel. It is not used for advertising, for building user profiles, for training machine-learning or AI models, or for any purpose unrelated to publishing the operator’s own videos.

How we store this data

The OAuth credential issued by Google is stored as a single file on the operator’s own personal computer. It is not transmitted to, or stored on, any server, hosting provider, database or cloud service controlled by us or by any third party. No YouTube analytics, viewer data, comments or subscriber information is read, stored or retained by the App.

How we share this data

We do not sell, rent, transfer or disclose Google user data to any third party. No human other than the operator has access to it.

Limited Use disclosure

Data retention and deletion

The stored credential is retained only while the automation is in use. It can be revoked at any time by the account owner at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately and permanently ends the App’s access. Deleting the credential file on the operator’s computer also ends all access.

Children

The App is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone other than its operator.

Changes to this policy

Any change to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
